Convict Day
On Monday it was convict Day. We were very excited.
We sung the Botany Bay song in front of the parents.
We had been learning about convicts and the first Fleet. It was very fun.
The Magistrate was Mr Mitchell,he was very funny.
My favourite activity was the calligraphy writing because we learnt how
to do calligraphy writing.

I loved convict day. The costumes were fantastic! I was most impressed with your diary. You looked like you had a lot of fun and learned a lot about Australia’s history as a colony!
