My favourite part of the literature festival was when Mark Wilson teach me how to draw.
He showed me some drawing techniques and tricks to show me how to draw.
I was planning to do the treasure hunt i was handing out people’s sheets. The activities were lucky dip, treasure hunt and a lot more. There was a lot like Mark Wilson, Nicki Greenberg and a lot more. We also had poem in the pocket we shared are poem with are buddies.

This week The Children’s Book Award winners were announce.
The picture books nominated were Ten Pond Pom , Mopoke, A walk in a Bush, Swan lake, Florette and The great Rabbit Chase . The winner was A walk in a bush , I think it won because it was interesting and had great drawings. My favourite book was Ten Pound Pom because it was interesting and it was like a history book and Florette because it was a nature book.
What was your favourite picture book and should had won?
In reading we have been learning about cause and effect. We created comics to show what we know.
Cause is the reason why something happened and effect is what happened because of the cause.
My comic is about two girls who were in their house and got in a tornado.
What wiil be the effect of the tornado?
In Year 4 we just finished our first book chat session.
The first book I got was Grover Mcbane. It was about a dog called Grover
and his old dog owner who was rude and left Grover outside cold and hungry. But his new owner was very nice they give him treats and his bed was in the owners bedroom.
My new book is Weirdo I thought it wasn’t going to be funny but I read some
pages then it was funny.
